Shoulder pain can be really uncomfortable, affecting your daily activities and mobility. Whether you’re dealing with a sharp ache or a dull, constant throb, shoulder pain can have many causes and impact people of all ages. Or, maybe you have no pain at all but your shoulder is unstable! We have a passion in treating shoulders and you won’t just be given some theraband and asked to do some rotations!
Some common reasons for shoulder pain include:
- Rotator Cuff Injuries: These muscles and tendons keep your shoulder stable and are critical to a healthy shoulder.
- Frozen Shoulder: A condition where your shoulder becomes stiff and painful, making it hard to move your arm freely.
- Shoulder instability: Whether you dislocated your shoulder from an fall, on the rugby pitch or maybe you are hypermobile… our team can help you restore the function of your shoulder and avoid surgery.
- Arthritis: Osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis can affect your shoulder, leading to joint pain, stiffness, and swelling.
- Long head of biceps pain: Overuse or repetitive motions, especially from sports or physical work, can cause inflammation in the tendons or the tendon sheath, resulting in pain.
- Bursitis: The fluid-filled sacs that cushion your shoulder joint can become irritated, causing discomfort.

What our patients say
I saw Amy for physio after shoulder surgery, and she was amazing! Amy tailored each session and genuinely cared throughout my recovery. The clinic itself was excellent. It was really comfortable, well-equipped, and welcoming.

This place is excellent! I’ve been doing post natal rehab and return to strength here for last 4 months and it’s just a fantastic place. Candice who trains the mum and baby restore classes is excellent!
