Ciara is a highly experienced paediatric physiotherapist with over 15 years of experience across the NHS, private practice and specialist paediatric sports settings. She holds a BSc in Physiotherapy and an MSc in Advanced Clinical Practice in Paediatric Musculoskeletal Rehabilitation. Alongside her work at Mint Wellbeing, Ciara works as an Advanced Practice Paediatric Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist within the NHS, bringing extensive expertise in the assessment, diagnosis and management of complex musculoskeletal conditions in children and young people. Her clinical background includes specialist experience at Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH), one of the UK’s leading paediatric centres.
Ciara specialises in paediatric musculoskeletal physiotherapy for babies, children and teenagers aged 0–17 years. Her areas of expertise include sports injury prevention and rehabilitation, hypermobility, traction apophysitis, paediatric rheumatology conditions, baby orthopaedics, and supporting gross motor development in babies and toddlers. Known for her warm, reassuring and highly specialist approach, Ciara works closely with children, young people and their families to provide evidence-based care tailored to each stage of development.
Outside the clinic, Ciara enjoys Pilates, travel, long walks with her dog and spending time with her twins. A keen adventurer, she has even hiked Mount Kilimanjaro.
